Parameters
- source
- Type: System.LinqIQueryableTSource
The dataset to be partitioned - keySelector
- Type: System.Linq.ExpressionsExpressionFuncTSource, TKey
The funtion to extract the key from a record - isDescending
- Type: SystemBoolean
true if the partition keys are descending - partitionCount
- Type: SystemInt32
Number of partitions in the output dataset

- The type of the records in the dataset

- The type of the key on which the partition is based

Type: IQueryableTSourceAn IQueryable partitioned according to a list of keys determined at runtime
Usage Note
In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IQueryableTSource. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
